Boca Juniors lives a moment of changes following the departure of Sebastián Battaglia. Until a new DT is defined for the blue and gold team, there will be a technical trident on the bench led by Hugo Ibarra, Mariano Herrón and Leandro Gracián. This Saturday will be the first test for the interims and the last practice of the ‘Xeneize’ left surprises, with the protagonist Carlos Zambrano.

According to the Argentine press, the main novelty in the assembly of the team that would face Saint Lawrence would be the inclusion of the Peruvian defender as a starter, instead of Carlos Izquierdoz, captain and team leader.
Media such as TyC Sports and Olé agreed that Ibarra (in charge of the trident) “kicked the board” when removing Boca’s usual central defender from the eleven, although it is unknown if the decision responds to an issue outside of football.
But it would not be the only change with respect to the last eleven that collided with Corinthians for the Copa Libertadores. Juan Ramírez by Ezequiel Zeballo would be another variant, they point out from the country of the ‘Albiceleste’.
In the last training session of the ‘Xeneize’ Agustín Rossi, Luis Advíncula, Carlos Zambrano, Marcos Rojo, Frank Fabra lined up as starters; Óscar Romero, Pol Fernández, Alan Varela, Juan Ramírez; Dario Benedetto and Sebastian Villa.
“Ibarra, Herrón and Gracián will be in charge of the team for as long as necessary until we make a decision (regarding the new DT)”, said ‘Patrón’ Bermúdez, a member of the club’s Football Council, this Friday. “The technical trident is the one who makes the decision”, he said regarding Izquierdoz.
