Awad Taj El-Din: Small to moderate cases of corona injuries constitute 95%

Dr. Muhammad Awad Taj El-Din, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs, said that the Corona virus did not disappear and is still a global epidemic, subject to a fluctuation process, as there are waves of infection from the virus, and a month and a half ago in a state of great decline in Corona cases, and there are few cases, and hospitalizations It might have disappeared.

He explained, during a telephone interview on the “Manchet” program, on the “CBC” satellite channel, with the journalist Jaber Al-Qarmouti, that the past two weeks we have witnessed an increase in numbers with the same last wave, pointing out that the first waves were the proportion of simple to medium cases 85% of cases, while The past period, mild to moderate cases, constitute 95% of the cases.

Dr. Muhammad Awad Taj El-Din stated that there is an increase from 7 to 8% of injuries, explaining that it is noticeable that the injuries are family, and we did not reach zero cases.

He pointed out that the country was able to provide all types of vaccines, and we are the only African country and few in the world to provide these vaccines, adding that 37.6 million citizens have received the full vaccine, and regarding 4 million have received the booster dose.
