This Thursday, in the followingnoon, “the police review” of Glenn Castellanos, “co-author of the hit man” committed once morest Professor Carlos Lanz, ended, as reported on Twitter the Attorney General Tarek William Saab.

At the moment, the Cicpc Special Actions Brigade transferred Castellanos to the Palace of Justice to carry out the denunciation hearing before the prosecutors of the Public Ministry.

Carlos Lanz, a university professor who has disappeared since August 2020, was murdered with a firearm, in a crime planned by his wife, Maxiorisol Cumare, who was arrested along with 12 other people who participated in the event.

Saab assured on Wednesday that, although 13 arrests have already been made, investigation continuesfor which he did not rule out new arrests of subjects linked to the kidnapping and subsequent murder of the professor.

The victim’s wife was charged with the crimes of contract killing, association to commit a crime, corruption and simulation of a punishable act.

According to the prosecutor, Castellanos is Cumare’s “extramarital partner” and revealed that it was she who planned the crime and the circumstances in which it occurred.

The official explained that the event is divided into three parts: “kidnapping by assassins, disappearance and, finally, murder through firearms, shots (…) A hair-raising plot that is like a cocktail of terror, which mixes multiple criminal motives.

Glenn Castellanos’s confession was the key to continue the investigation and find the details that led to those identified as guilty.
