Implementation from October 1
One aid chasing another, the arrival of this fuel allowance should take precedence over the discount of 18 cents per liter at the pump. Its launch is set for October 1. “Peak inflation is expected to decline by 2023. We now need to move on to temporary and targeted measures: supporting those who work“, said Bruno Le Maire.
According to information from Le Parisien, approximately 11 million households, i.e. those receiving up to approximately €1,600 net per month, which corresponds to half of the poorest French people, might benefit from this system. But this remains to be confirmed.
The device is part of the bill for purchasing power, which is presented this Thursday in the Council of Ministers.
