The most prominent collections of haute couture fall-winter 2022-2023
Armani Privé Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2022-2023 Tailoring Collection
Giorgio Armani Privé Haute Couture Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2022-2023 collection oscillates between dreams and creativity as it embodies realism, a hallmark of Giorgio Armani’s style. Ornate details stand out a lot in this collection, as are the sparkly grains, oversized ruffles, glittery grain embroideries and extra-large pleats. Also, strong colors such as pink and blue flavored the collection with a striking and distinctive touch, as were calm tones such as black, navy and white. In addition, long, embroidered blazers became an important part of the collection, along with long dresses and flared trousers that narrow at the ankle. As for accessories, stiletto shoes paired with a strap and clutches complemented the models’ looks. Hence, this collection evokes strong women, just like the painter Tamara de Lempicka whose rebellious elegance echoes in the succession of ideal forms.
Zuhair Murad Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2022-2023 Tailoring Collection
Under the title Les Arts Divinatoires, Zuhair Murad presented his Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2022-2023 tailoring collection during Paris Fashion Week, inspired by the magic of the universe and spiritual symbols. This collection narrates 10 chapters and 10 consecutive tales woven with feathers, luxurious fabrics and embroideries with cosmic shapes and celestial creatures. Slash-out designs, bodysuits with bold cuts, mini dresses with removable trains, ball gowns, cape designs and more are all featured in this collection.
Maison Rabih Kayrouz Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2022-2023 Tailoring Collection
The designer, Rabih Kayrouz, presented his haute couture tailoring collection for the fall-winter 2022-2023 during the Paris Fashion Week, where he presented designs with comfortable cuts, just like the extravagant dresses, whether they come with long sleeves, wrap around the neck or an off-shoulder cut. This is in addition to the wide top that was presented with pants. The house also introduced short-cut designs, such as dresses and shiny shorts, which were included in a set.
Ashi Studio Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2022-2023 Tailoring Collection
Ashi Studio Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2022-2023 tailoring collection is called The Waves, which was inspired by a book of that name and written by Virginia Woolf. This collection featured designs in flowing volumes and muted colours. The house also presented pieces with eye-catching details such as oversized cuts, asymmetric ones, feathers and sparkling grains. The cape with the structural cut took a striking part of the collection, adding to it a sophisticated and distinctive touch.
Schiaparelli Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2022-2023 Tailoring Collection
Creative Director Daniel Roseberry presented the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2022-2023 collection, which included innovative designs, inspired by the surreal style that inspired Elsa Schiaparelli. With this collection, the Creative Director wanted to prove that fashion is never so silly, as some see it. I also hope that people who see this set will know how much fun it was with the team while doing it. And he wished that the joy they felt, while creating and making beautiful creations, would always remain in people’s memory, fully visible through every coat, piece of clothing or accessory.
Giambattista Valli Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2022-2023 Tailoring Collection
Giambattista Valli launched his haute couture tailoring collection for fall-winter 2022-2023 with a set of clothes in white, with straight cuts from top to bottom, some of which were decorated with large elements. But then, we saw the fluffy dresses and the cuts were very exaggerated, as some of them were characterized by large ruffles, and strong colors such as green, pink and others. As for the bride’s dress, the house presented it in pink, characterized by its narrow cut that widens from the bottom with fluffy tulle. This design was also paired with a veil that also came in pink.
Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2022-2023 Tailoring Collection
The Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2022-2023 tailoring collection was designed by Olivier Rousteing. Jean-Paul Gaultier invited this designer to carry out this collection, as this step is the third iteration of a project that is being handed over to another designer. For this collection, Olivier Rousteing presented designs with a bold character, just like the style they used to present in the Balmain collection. Rigid and oversized cuts such as oversized sleeves, extra-long feather detailing, stand out in this collection. This is in addition to innovative designs such as the skirt that came in the form of a blazer, and the neck-tie shirt featuring an extra-long train.
