In Mississippi, a 16-year-old young man jumped into a river to save four people from drowning.
Corion Evans is a 16 year old young man who lives in Mississippi and who has performed a heroic act. Near the Pascagoula River, a car lost control and plunged into the water, before starting to sink.
Corion, who was there at the right place at the right time, saw the scene and did not hesitate for a second before helping.

The car sank regarding 6 meters from shore with three teenage girls inside. When he saw the scene, Corion took off his shoes, shirt and put down his phone before jumping into the water.
“I said to myself that I might not let any of these people die. They had to come out of the water, I mightn’t think of anything else”did he declare.
He saves four people from drowning
Corion Evans learned to swim when he was 3 years old and with his skills he was able to pick up the teenage girls and hold them out of the water while bringing them back to shore. A police officer, who witnessed the scene and wanted to intervene to help, also dove into the water before starting to drown.
“I turned around and saw the drowning policeman screaming for help. So I went to him, grabbed him and swam him back”explained Cordon.

Thanks to his heroic gesture, Cordon managed to save four people from drowning: the three teenage girls and the policeman. He immediately received thanks from the police for his courage.
“The Police Department and I commend Mr. Evans for his bravery and selflessness in risking his own safety to help those in danger. If he hadn’t helped, it might have ended tragically.”said chief bridle Brandon Ashley.
Cordon Evans also received thanks from the teenage girls he rescued, and earned his mom’s pride. The four people who risked their lives were all taken to the hospital for a health check to make sure everything was fine.
