[Lugano (Switzerland) 5th Archyde.com]–Swiss President and Foreign Minister Cassis said at a press conference that Ukrainian Prime Minister Schmihari was frozen in each country at the “Ukraine Reconstruction Conference” held in Lugano, Switzerland. He chilled out that he needed a balance to deal with the problem, asking for the confiscation of assets and its use for the reconstruction of Ukraine.

The Reconstruction Council is gathered by each country to support Ukraine, which has suffered great social and economic damage due to the invasion of Russia. At a press conference following the meeting, Shmyhal said the US, European Union (EU) and Britain’s frozen assets totaling $ 300-500 billion might be used to fund the rebuilding of destroyed schools, hospitals and homes in Ukraine. He insisted that he should be able to do it.

“If you follow the rules of most democracies, we can freeze assets to find out where they come from,” Cassis said. However, he has taken a stance to keep a distance when Switzerland has to solve the uncertain relationship between assets and the situation in Ukraine and the problem of the balance of measures to be taken. He also stated that it is important for him to protect individuals from state power and to establish a legal basis for asset confiscation.

Switzerland, a neutral country of eternity, is now in line with EU sanctions once morest Russia. In May, it reported that Russia had frozen assets of CHF 6.3 billion ($ 6.5 billion) in the country. However, I resist this automatic requisition. Switzerland has long been a popular land for the Russian elite and has become a place of wealth for the wealthy Russians.
