Going on holiday with a diesel car? Beware of breakdowns, Touring warns drivers who forget to check a little thing…

This is information that Touring announced to HLN. It is important to check the AdBlue level! Many holidaymakers wait too long to fill the AdBlue tank and Touring finds that the number of breakdowns involving drivers who were unable to start their car due to insufficient AdBlue is increasing every year. Last year, an increase of 24.5% was recorded compared to 2019.

So fill up with AdBlue as soon as possible when the warning light comes on. You can buy it in 1.8 liter or 5 liter bottles at most petrol stations for the affordable price of 2 euros per litre. The minimum quantity to be filled is approximately 4 liters and can go up to 10 liters for certain brands.

Remember that on some models it is necessary to reset the car’s on-board computer for the indicator to disappear!
