Lhe trail leading to Burnley having died out despite the agreement reached between Standard and the Championship club coached by Vincent Kompany, several Turkish clubs had returned to enlist Jackson Muleka. Including Besiktas and Kasimpasa, two clubs with which Standard had found common ground, leaving the Congolese striker the choice of his destination.

Muleka has decided: it is in Besiktas, which offers him a five-year contract, that he will continue his career. What decided Muleka was the presence of the French coach Valérien Ismaël at the head of the technical staff of Besiktas, who explained to him how he intended to use him in a system with two attackers. Muleka is expected to fly to Istanbul in the next few hours to sign his contract.
