Director Taika Waititi brings a new potion to the new Thor series. If in the previous series the nuances of action were more intense with various visual effects, now he enriches Thor: Love and Thunder with elements of drama.

Christian Bale with his role as Gorr has become the new color of the villain in the Marvel Cinematics Universe. If most were previously only obsessed with idealism or controlling the world, it was different with Gorr the God Butcher.
He managed to steal the spotlight in the film with various flavors displayed, such as sadness, depression, horror, to love. As the title suggests, love has indeed become a serious topic raised by Taika in her latest film.
There is a variety of love displayed there, ranging from couples, friends, to family. Everything becomes an interesting treat and light to watch.
Bale also intelligently describes how much love a father has for his daughter. He is willing to destroy the world just to take revenge for what happened to his daughter which of course makes him come into conflict with the gods and warriors of Asgard.
Even so, Taika also didn’t want the film to be filled with drama and action. Comedy is a complementary spice as well as a barrier between the two. And for this matter, he was with Chris Hensworth who became the king.
Taika’s action as Korg deserves thumbs up. He seemed to realize that Chris Hemsworth needed a partner to bring laughter and now he took a much bigger portion than his previous films.
Moreover, Chris Hensworth really maximized the innocence of the God of Lightning. How he overcomes his turmoil to understand what love and commitment are.
With a duration of 119 minutes, Thor: Love and Thunder may be one of the newest favorite superhero series from Marvel fans. And one of the surprises was the action of Chris Hemsworth’s daughter who became one of the main stars in the film.
