AS said in its report, which was published on its website: Laporta discusses with Mendes the possibilities of joining the historic Real Madrid scorer in Barcelona, ​​and the famous business agent had dinner with Laporta, and the topic of discussion was the transfer of the Portuguese international.

He added: Laporta wanted to sign Ronaldo last summer, but the club’s difficult economic situation prevented him from doing so.

Ronaldo is currently in Portugal and did not join Manchester United’s preparations for the new season for family reasons, and sources close to the Portuguese star stated that the English club refused to open the doors to his transfer.
