According to data released by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing on July 4, China’s logistics industry prosperity index in June was 52.1%, up 2.8 percentage points from the previous month; China’s warehousing index was 53.9%, up 3.7 percentage points from the previous month.

In June, the prosperity index of the logistics industry rebounded, showing that with the continued efforts to stabilize the economy and the improvement of the domestic epidemic prevention and control situation, business activities at both ends of the market have become more active. It is expected that with the release of demand and accelerated production in the later period, the overall level of the logistics industry will return to a more active level.

Micro-vitality was improved, and business operation indicators were improved. In June, the logistics assistance policy for enterprises was gradually implemented, and the operation indicators of enterprises showed an improvement trend. The price of logistics services increased slightly, the capital turnover accelerated, and the business profit index and equipment utilization index increased month-on-month.

The development of the industry is expected to improve, and new orders and investment keep picking up. On the basis of the overall improvement in the macroscopic aspect, the microscopic vitality of enterprises has been enhanced, and their profits have improved. Logistics enterprises have maintained optimistic expectations for the future market, and the investment level has rebounded for two consecutive months. In June, the new orders index was 53.3%, up 4.5 percentage points from the previous month. From the perspective of expectations, the business activity expectation index in June was 54.9%, up 1.2 percentage points from the previous month; from the perspective of investment trends, the fixed asset investment completion index rebounded for two consecutive months, reaching more than 50%.
