Already available in video game format, My Hero Academia will be entitled to a battle royale version and we recently had confirmation of a worldwide launch of this atypical adaptation!

One of the flagship manga of the moment imitates Fortnite
Unlike the creation of Kohei Horikoshi, we cannot say that the video game adaptations of My Hero Academia left an unforgettable memory. It is therefore with this enormous responsibility that last January Bandai Namco shared the first information on the software, subtitled ” Ultra Rumble “, which takes up the codes of a genre popularized by the famous Epic Games license, Fortnite. Yes, there will indeed be a game where teams of several players will compete in epic battles using the powers of their Quirks.
Shortly following surprising fans around the world with this announcement, Bandai Namco released a trailer explaining how this mix between My Hero Academia and the battle royale genre would work. In fact, 24 players will be released in different sets of the manga which will serve as maps, but it will not be every man for himself: all the participants are, in reality, divided into 8 teams of 3 players and will have to fight until there’s only one left ! Unfortunately, if his presentation had been able to make the mouth water, he had to quickly dry his tears in front of the absence of localization of the title. But, barely over, the mourning gives way to celebrations!
The battle royale My Hero Academia will arrive in France!
All fans who appreciate the battle royale genre can finally rejoice! My Hero Academia : Ultra Rumble will indeed set down its suitcases, outside the Japanese archipelago, on PC, PS4, Xbox One et Switch in our French regions ! Better yet, it will be a free-to-play which means that no player and avid reader of the adventures of Izuku Midoriya will have any excuse not to try the title of Bandai Namco. To celebrate this, a trailer (available at the top of the article) was released by the Japanese company!
Like the heroes of the manga, this promotional video for the worldwide release of the title goes all out and reveals the scale of the battle promised by this free-to-play battle royale. This allows you to become familiar with the character roster — which has yet to be confirmed — as well as with their different abilities and the ways in which synergies between characters can be created through teams of three. However, it will only be necessary to be satisfied with its few images, the confirmation of a worldwide release and the launch of a beta phase (on PS4on August 17 and 18) because the release date has not yet been revealed..
