Barcelona has officially announced the signing of Ivorian star Frank Kessie, on a free transfer, following the end of his contract with AC Milan. Casey’s contract will be with Barcelona until 2026, with a release clause of 500 million euros.
Barcelona said, on its official website: “The club has reached an agreement with Frank Kessie, and he will sign a contract until June 30, 2026, and his release clause will be 500 million euros.”
He added, “The club will present Casey next Wednesday, where he will sign contracts in the Sports City, and then wear the club’s shirt at Tito Vilanova Stadium, before holding his press conference.”
And Frank Kessie is the first deal that the Catalan club concludes during the current summer transfers, following the two parties agreed on all the terms.
Frank Kessie played for Milan 5 seasons, since joining from Atalanta in 2017, and played 214 games and scored 36 goals in the Rossoneri shirt.
