The death of Susana Dosamantes, at the age of 74, has filled her family and the entertainment world with sadness. The Mexican, who died on Saturday, July 2, suffered from pancreatic cancer and was treated in Miami.
Hours following the unfortunate news, the program Wake up America captured her widower, Luis Rivas Fuentes, walking with a briefcase outside the funeral home where Susana’s remains were found. Some time later, the man left the place to eat alone at a restaurant in the same city.
It was not until Sunday that the broadcast of shows managed to observe the singer Paulina Rubio arriving at the place accompanied by her children, Eros and Andrea Nicolás, in addition to other women, to say goodbye to the first actress.
Through a statement, Susana’s children and family confirmed that they will fulfill her last wish, which will be to be cremated in the city of Miami, Florida, and deposit her ashes in Mexico City.
In the same text, the Dosamantes family paid him an emotional tribute remembering some of the most important moments of his career and his life story. “He became known as the Most Beautiful Face of National Cinema, with his debut on the big screen with Arturo Ripstein, in Memories of the future and in Hollywood he worked alongside John Wayne, George Peppard and Max Von Sydow, among others” , marked with pride.
In the same way, those close to the deceased artist highlighted some of her achievements in more than 50 years of career. She “she was one of the most distinguished actresses in the entertainment industry, participating in more than 60 films and in almost twenty soap operas, in addition to participating in numerous plays with great success,” she said.
It was her son Enrique Rubio who through his social networks confirmed the news of Susana’s death, following her illness was made known in recent months.
