Sebastian Vettel (Aston Martin) finished 9th in the 2022 F1 Round 10 British Grand Prix final on his 35th birthday.
“It’s great to score points on my birthday and in the team’s home race. It’s a decent race overall and good, especially considering where I started (on the 18th grid). I think it was a recovery, “commented Sebastian Vettel.
“The first start with the red flag was very chaotic. The kick was really good and I jumped into almost the same gap as Alex (Albon). Then I was squeezed and everything was in response to the accident that happened before. I was in a traffic jam. I applied the brakes, but I mightn’t avoid contact with Alex. “
“The most important thing is that everyone involved is fine.”
