Confluence News reporter Wang Zuoming/Taipei report
Samsung’s S series and Note series of smartphones have always been favored by fans, and with the recently launched foldables, it can be said that the product line of Samsung’s mobile phones is quite rich, giving users a lot of choices. However, as Samsung has brought the S Pen stylus to the S series of mobile phones in recent years, the outside world is quite curious whether the Galaxy Note series, which has always featured the S Pen as a feature, will disappear. In this regard, the Samsung president gave the latest statement. According to foreign media reports, Samsung President TM Roh confirmed that starting this year, the Galaxy Note will appear in the form of Galaxy S Ultra in the future.
According to TM Roh, Samsung’s future smartphone product strategy should continue the approach of the Galaxy S22 series. The S22 and S22 Plus will continue to maintain the original style, but they will also launch a more square shape with S22 Ultra with S Pen stylus.
It is worth mentioning that, in addition to the current and future Ultra series, Samsung has also gradually opened the S Pen stylus to different product lines in recent years, such as tablets or folding machines, which can be applied to the S Pen stylus. Therefore, it is expected that Samsung has reached the point of technological consolidation when there is not much difference between the various series of smartphones.
But how powerful is the current S Pen? According to the official website, the S Pen Pro can be easily connected to the user’s Samsung Galaxy device, allowing users to write notes on different screens when needed, or to easily use Air Actions (remote control). Plus, thanks to built-in Bluetooth connectivity, Smart Selection now moves clippings to another device, making sharing easy. Best of all, the S Pen Pro can be easily charged via USB Type-C, with a battery life of up to 16 days on a full charge.
