Shooters are valuable in the NBA, and that’s probably why the Celtics decided to offer Sam Hauser a six million, three-year contract. This former Virginia player only played 26 games last season, averaging 2.5 points and 1.1 rebounds, but Brad Stevens saw real shooting skills in him.
Arrived in Boston via a “two-way contract”, Hauser thus turned 43% at 3-points in the NBA, but also in the G-League. Here he is now with a nice three-year contract, the first two seasons of which are guaranteed.
