A mother (24) is in trouble with her 22 children following her husband’s arrest: “I can’t stand the silence.”
Christina Ozturk, a 24-year-old mother of 22 children, found herself in deep trouble following her husband, Turkish businessman Galip Ozturk, 57, was arrested for forgery and money laundering.
From March 2020 to July 2021, the couple spent more than €170,000 on surrogate mothers who gave birth to 19 babies. They spend more than 90,000 euros a year on nannies and planned to have 105 children. But Christina says she doesn’t know if her plans will come true because Galip was arrested in Georgia. Now she is lonely and cannot bear to be without her husband.
“The feeling of loneliness does not leave me, even when there are so many close people with me. I’m used to my husband being at home, to being there all the time. He’s been working from home for the past few years, so we’ve been together all the time. “When we put the kids to bed we chatted, when I went to Tbilisi or Istanbul we talked on the phone for hours,” she wrote in a post on Instagram.
“It’s harder for me now than ever. I can’t stand the silence, I can’t stand his absence, I can’t sleep and wake up alone, I can’t see his empty seat. I can’t hear his laughter, I can’t hear his voice, I can’t feel his hug,” she added.
Kristina now lives in a big house with her children. She gave birth to little girl Vika at the age of 17 and had her first child with Galip, son Mustafa, in 2020. Their 21st child together, little girl Judy, was born just three months ago.
Incidentally, Galip Ozturk fled Turkey in 2018 following being sentenced to life imprisonment for murder in 1996.
