A truck and a car collided in West Melbourne, Florida

A terrible accident occurred on a Florida highway in West Melbourne on Thursday followingnoon.

A post on the Brevard County Fire Department Facebook page shows footage of the crash on northbound I-95, in which miraculously no one was killed or seriously injured.

The agency reports that a trailer truck had a tire burst, causing the driver to lose control and knock down the party wall protection barrier, taking with him in front other vehicle, a Nissan sedan.

The two vehicles came to a stop in the median, and the Nissan was completely trapped between the trailer and the other barrier on the southbound side of I-95. The windshield is completely shattered; part of the truck bed went through the passenger side.

Two occupants were taken to a local hospital with “minor injuries,” the post said. “No other hazards were reported.”

Commentators mightn’t believe that nothing worse had happened with all that damage. Others expressed how being hit from the side by a large truck is one of their biggest fears on the road. A few took a more spiritual approach, saying sedan people must have “guardian angels.”

“I can’t imagine how terrifying this must have been.”

“Vaya”.

“Surely the hand of God was involved in this!”

“This is why I never drive next to a trailer. I pass them quickly.”

“This looks bad.”

“My goodness, the people in that car got lucky!”
