A man of approximately 42 years of age died in the early hours of this Saturday at the Central Hospital of Maracay (HCM), following being shot in the head on June 19, when unknown subjects allegedly tried to end his life. .
The deceased was identified as Omar Giovanny Márquez Morales, and was hospitalized in the aforementioned health center for 13 days, but the efforts of the doctors were not enough to keep him alive.
According to the information offered to the media, Márquez Morales was traveling in his vehicle, Jeep brand, Cherokee model, biege color, at 12:30 midnight along Andrés Eloy Blanco street, intersection with Aragua avenue in the Piñonal neighborhood. , in the company of another person identified as Omar Daniel Márquez Rodríguez, presumably his son.
When they arrived in that area, unknown individuals approached them to steal their truck. In the middle of the exchange of words, the antisocials apparently fired at the vehicle, seriously injuring both crew members.
Immediately, the Márquezes were transferred to the HCM so that the doctors on duty might stabilize their health condition, being immediately admitted to the Intensive Care Units.
During these 13 days, both Omar Giovanny and Omar Daniel were under the observation of the doctors. But unfortunately, Omar Giovanny suffered a decompensation, and following several attempts by the doctors to stabilize him, he died at around 12:30 am this Saturday in the aforementioned hospital.
The body was transferred to the Caña de Azúcar morgue so that the forensic doctors might perform the required autopsy and determine the causes of death.
Given this situation, security officials, such as Cicpc, are on the trail of the perpetrators of this murder, and will not rest until they find those responsible for ending the life of Omar Giovanny.
