Sony advertises the new Xperia 1 IV as the first smartphone with a true optical zoom lens. Of course, that’s not entirely true. After all, Samsung had already started a similar attempt eight years ago with the Galaxy Zoom. However, it was more of a camera in which the manufacturer had installed a mobile phone module.
