Great Britain GP F1 2022: Carlos Sainz snatches Pole position from Verstappen at Silverstone; Czech Prez Long Quarter

Hu surprise at Silverstone. Carlos Sainz beat Max Verstappen in closing and took pole position. The Spaniard will start first in the Great Britain GP and his teammate Charles Leclerc will start third, while Sergio ‘Checo’ Prez started fourth.

Under complex conditions due to rain, Saturday’s qualifying at Silverstone did not disappoint and left great emotions. When the Dutchman seemed to have first place in his pocket, a spectacular close by Sainz decanted the Qualy for Ferrari.
