Luke Kornet does not move from Boston. The center, who has already completed the 2021-22 season with the Celtics, has closed an agreement to continue with them for the next two seasons; reports Chris B. Haynes of Yahoo Sports.
At 26 years old (27 in days), Kornet will be looking for some stability following two years in which he has gone through up to four teams (five in total in a career of as many years).
Last season, already forming part of the greens, he played 12 games of regular season to average 2.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in 7.1 minutes per night. His participation fell in the playoffs to take the field only nine times and stay in 2.1 minutes on average.
Regarding his possible contribution to the Massachusetts organization, he seems destined to occupy one of the last positions in the rosterso his role would be solely to give depth to the team.
