Atlanta Hawks has closed a transfer with Sacramento Kings for which it sends California to Kevin Huerter in exchange of Justin Holiday, Moe Harkless and a protected future first-round draft pick, reports Adrian Wojnarowski (ESPN) on his Twitter account.
Justin Holiday and Moe Harkless’ contracts are ‘expiring’, that is, they only have the next year to fulfill, while Huerter’s covers until 2026.
Atlanta’s move is part of the restructuring that the team has undertaken as a result of a disappointing season that came following a very successful campaign, a restructuring that includes the arrival of Dejounte Murray.
Huerter, a shooting guard with a good shot and defense, averaged 12.1 points in 74 regular league games last year.
