Apparently, it is quite possible to take care of editing very good solo games while incurring the wrath of players by drawing a joke that goes very badly on social networks. Unfortunately, when you are a Community Manager (CM), not everything you can post on social networks is unanimous. In this case, the attempt of Electronic Arts to amuse the gallery on Twitter ended in bitter failure. By pointing out the fact of liking “solo experiences” in a humorous message, it is a whole part of the community of players attached to these games who replied to the tweet from the American publisher. Stung to the quick, the latter did not go with dead hands and did not forget to recall the low quality past of the publisher concerning certain productions in its catalog.

The backlash hurts a lot and, of course, when you tackle single-player games, it’s better to be flawless on what you praise, namely multiplayer games. However, in this area, Electronic Arts has not always excelled and faced with these production accidents, players had no qualms regarding using it once morest the publisher: many of them, for example, responded by publishing the Metacritic pages of a handful of multiplayer games from EA’s catalog: Battlefield 2042, Anthem, Madden NFL 22 or Star Wars : Battlefront II.
