Liverpool succeeds in extending Mohamed Salah’s contract

Liverpool, the English Premier League football club, announced on Friday that Egyptian international striker Mohamed Salah has extended his contract for a long time with the club.

Liverpool did not reveal any details, but Sky reported that Salah signed a contract until 2025.

And the club’s website quoted Salah as saying in a statement: “I am not happy and I look forward to winning more titles with the club.” It’s a happy day for everyone.

He continued, “It took some time to renew, but we have finished everything and will focus on the upcoming benefits.”

He continued: We have all seen the size of the development and progress made by the team in the past five or six years. Last season we came close to winning four titles but unfortunately we lost two titles in the last week of the season.

Salah scored 23 league goals with Liverpool last season to share the Premier League Golden Boot with Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-min.

The 30-year-old Egyptian international scored 31 goals in all competitions for Liverpool and helped the club win the League Cup and FA Cup.
