During a press conference held in Tunis a few days ago, the director of the demonstration, Mabrouk Al-Ayouni, spoke regarding the programming of nine musical performances during the new session; four of them from Tunisiatwo from Austria and two from Italy, in addition to a joint show between Tunisia and Germany.
Al-Ayouni said that the Association of El Jem International Symphonic Music Festival, which organized the event, which will be held in El Jem Roman TheatreIt will work on programming musical performances during the summer, outside the official date of the festival, noting, in this context, that the theater will host Italian musical performances over three continuous days in September.
The new edition opens with a performance by the Tunisian Symphony Orchestra, which returns to open the festival fifteen years later. On the 16th of this month, Italian flautist Andrea Griminale will present, with his band, a group of the most prominent works of soundtracks by Italian composer Ennio Morricone (1928 – 2020).
Other participants in the festival include: the symphonic orchestra “Soloists”, the “Orchestra of the Academy of Tunis Opera Theater”, the artist Hassan El Doss and “Angham Music Group” from Tunisia, the “Italian Opera”, the “Vienna Opera Ball Orchestra” and “Shake Stew Ensemble” From Austria.
