The Lakers sign 2 players in 2 minutes!

Aware of the big changes to be made during the offseason, the Lakers acted when opening free agency. On the strokes of 1 am French time, the Californian franchise has indeed signed 2 players in quick succession.

Update 1h40 01/07: Juan Toscano-Anderson also signs for the Lakers!

Things are moving at the Lakers! Unsurprisingly, GM Rob Pelinka is seriously revamping the roster for the 2022-2023 season. Exit Malik Monk, gone to Sacramento, and welcome to the first recruits. After the signing of Damian Jones, the purple and gold house recorded two new arrivals overnight:

Obviously, Lonnie Walker (1 year, 6.5 million dollars) is the flashiest name among these recruits. The rear comes out of a season with more than 12 points on average with the Spurs, and has significant potential. Troy Brown (minimum contract) will bring his shot, while Damian Jones, author of a good stint in LA last season, will try to bring depth to a racket that Dwight Howard should leave.

One thing is certain: the veterans of last year seem to have given way to much more young and dynamic recruits, if not to have names that make you dream. Good news for the Lakers? Only the future will tell.

The Lakers are advancing their pawns on the market, with already 3 signings to date. And it’s certainly not over…
