Arrival of the fifth: 5 – 7 – 6 – 8 – 14
Disputed on good soft ground (3.4 on the penetrometer), the quinté of the day was set at the ParisLongchamp racecourse (Paris XVI). This major handicap took place semi-nocturnally and brought together fifteen competitors aged 4 to 6 inclusive following the fixed price of Grace Bere (n°12), on the 1,850m course. And two for Galifa (#5). She won a second event of this kind following that of April 12 in Fontainebleau, despite a four-kilo penalty. Entrusted to Thomas Trullier, she waited during the course before deploying excellent strides to win courageously: “She was very well born, but didn’t have a black type race to run. So I tried once more a big handicap underlines his trainer, Nicolas Clément, at the microphone of Equidia. His partner rode a great race. My boarder was relaxed and progressing with age. I think it will be better for longer. We will now maybe try a Listed in Germany or Italy. »
Failing a short head for success, Beautiful Aspen (n°7) erased her recent failure at Saint-Cloud where she was under the influence of her sex. After having galloped in seventh or eighth position, she put in a very good thrust and is ahead of Fayona (n°6) which confirms its fourth place in a similar field at the beginning of June at Saint-Cloud. Nottingham (n°8) takes a meritorious fourth place ahead of Astrology (n°14) which completes the arrival of the quinté.
Stéphan Flourent indicated the fifth in disorder in eight horses.
