The images broadcast by our colleagues from Laatste Nieuws testify to the chaotic situation which reigns this Thursday morning on the E40. Near Aalter, in the Brussels-Ostend direction, an accident occurred a few hours earlier. If this did not have serious consequences, it nevertheless caused major traffic jams.
Because, following the collision, a lot of debris was scattered on the highway, making it difficult to pass and the situation complicated for motorists. A diversion has also been put in place.
