Almost every day we receive new material for the second part of Peter Jackson’s “Hobbit” trilogy as the theatrical release approaches. Today there are five new posters that focus on the stars of “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug”.
The journey to the Lonely Mountain continues in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. The dwarves, led by heir to the throne Thorin (Richard Armitage), are joined by the hobbit Bilbo (Martin Freeman) and the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen). Together they must face the dragon Smaug (Benedict Cumberbatch), who once conquered the former dwarf kingdom. But apart from the adventure, a dark, long-forgotten power stirs, which humans, dwarves and elves must face together…
In the second part of Peter Jackson’s “Hobbit” trilogy, there is a reunion with Legolas (Orlando Bloom), Galadriel (Cate Blanchett) and Elrond (Hugo Weaving) in addition to the stars mentioned. We also get to know the new characters Tauriel (Evangeline Lilly) and Bard (Luke Evans). Some of them can be seen on the following five posters:
