Auch. For its 40th birthday, Acreampe becomes Cinephilae

After 40 years, the arthouse cinema association Acreamp changes its identity and becomes Cinephilae. This new identity marks the development of new projects around the defense of cinemas, distribution, training as well as animation and image education.

During the past 40 years, the association has notably helped to create a directors’ tour, or projects such as “Les toons disembark” or Ciné Latino. Acreamp also had the mission of educating regarding the image. This is what the High School Apprentice program provides, which many Gers residents have benefited from. High schools in the department were invited to watch a film, then discuss it immediately with a professional. Finally, the association offered a range of training courses in professions related to art house cinema.

Broadcasting, image education and training: Cinephilae intends to continue this momentum. Cinephilae reflects the structure’s commitment to cinema and its actors. The letters A and E represent the art that brings them together: Arthouse cinema. The yellow color is reminiscent of the light projected on cinema screens. The box takes on the symbolism of the cinema screen.
