Saudi media reported that the Public Prosecution Office in Jeddah is in the process of investigating a 50-year-old Saudi citizen who married his daughter to two men at the same time.
In the details of the case, the first husband established his marriage contract with the girl, to leave following two months outside Jeddah, so that the wife would return to her father’s house to visit them, but the father arranged a second marriage for her while his daughter was still in the infallibility of her first husband.
The father’s fraud was revealed, following the first husband received a call that his wife had married another man, and he telephoned the second husband, following which the couple filed a complaint once morest the girl’s father, accusing him of marrying his daughter to them at the same time.
The second husband also revealed to the Public Prosecution that he proposed to his wife from her father as a virgin, but he discovered the opposite following his marriage to her, and the father of the bride faces charges of violating the provisions of Islamic law, and fraud.
