Red Bull F1 Representative “I want to repay last year’s debt at Silverstone”[F1-Gate .com]

Red Bull Racing’s F1 team representative Christian Horner believes this weekend’s F1 British Grand Prix will give title rival Ferrari an advantage in “pure form”, but his team lost last year’s game. Later, he said he was “excited” to win at Silverstone.

Red Bull Racing is currently at the top of the Constructors’ Championship, winning seven of the nine races of the season, 76 points behind second-placed Ferrari.

But despite Red Bull Racing’s lead, Christian Horner isn’t happy with Ferrari’s form and potential upgrades, which he believes makes them a candidate for Silverstone’s victory. He also warned of the recent performance improvements of his longtime rival Mercedes F1.

“In pure form, Silverstone will be a strong race for Ferrari, like Barcelona,” said Christian Horner.

“Mercedes also had a strong last race pace, so it might be a factor in that race. It’s going to be an interesting race, and I’ve heard that Ferrari has some upgrades. It’s going to be interesting.”

Christian Horner and his Red Bull Racing were 44 points behind the Mercedes F1 in the Constructors’ Championship at last year’s F1 British Grand Prix, but were reduced to just 6 points following the race.

The title rivals Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen at the time crashed on the opening lap. Verstappen retired and Hamilton won.

Red Bull Racing is currently winning six straight games, and Christian Horner says it’s important to maintain momentum this year as well.

“Last year’s Silverstone was pretty tough for us,” said Christian Horner.

“Last year we went there with a comfortable lead, but it’s important to maintain this momentum as we’re building and going there this year. There are a lot of races we’ve put together and the teams and drivers have a great job. I’m doing “

“Silverstone is one of the best circuits on the calendar. It’s going to be a record number of spectators this year. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone there. I’m confident that Mercedes drivers have a lot of support. But we’re enthusiastic and heading there. We aim to correct what happened last year. “
