President and Putin confirm during their meeting communication on political and security issues

Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a meeting with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, today, Wednesday, on the sidelines of the sixth summit meeting of the countries bordering the Caspian Sea, that both of them are in constant contact on security issues as well as Syria, and that they have many things to talk regarding.

“Our relations are strategic and deep in nature. We are in constant interaction on political issues, security issues, and we are working in hot spots like Syria. In general, we definitely have something to talk regarding,” Putin said.

For his part, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi said that Russian-Iranian trade relations are developing and nothing will stop this development.

This is a very good and clear moment, and this indicates that the will of our two countries aims to develop trade and economic relations between the two countries, and nothing has stopped the development of our trade and economic ties, and nothing will stop it.”

He stressed that cooperation between Russia and Iran in the Caspian Sea region is an important aspect of bilateral cooperation.

The Iranian president said: “We can cooperate in the Caspian Sea in transportation and transit, as well as in other issues related to the Caspian Sea, I mean fishing, tourism and in all other different fields that are generally related to the Caspian Sea.”
