July 2022 Research Achievement Encounter
The new research achievement meeting for completing the seven weekly stamps of the field investigations during the month of July 2022 is the following:
- The Lickitung Pokemon*: Available to claim from Friday, July 1, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. PDT (22:00 CEST) to Monday, August 1, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. PDT (10:00 p.m. CEST).
Pokmon featured in the raids
Las raids in July 2022 are full of new legendary pokemon very special in their 5 star levels. Here are the confirmed creatures and their appearance dates (note that all rotations start and end at 10:00 local time, unless otherwise noted):
- Articuno*: from Friday, July 1, 2022, to Thursday, July 7, 2022.
- Zapdos*: from Thursday, July 7, 2022, to Thursday, July 14, 2022.
- Moltres*: from Thursday, July 14, 2022, to Friday, July 22, 2022.
- Dialga*: from Friday, July 22, 2022, to Sunday, July 31, 2022.
Pokemon from the Mega Raids
As for the mega evolved pokmon present at the mega raidsHere are the Mega Evolved that will be available (note that all rotations start and end at 10:00 local time, unless otherwise noted):
- Mega-Charizard X*: from Thursday, July 7, 2022, to Thursday, July 14, 2022.
- Mega Charizard Y*: from Thursday, July 14, 2022, to Friday, July 22, 2022.
- Mega-Pidgeot*: from Thursday, July 14, 2022, to Friday, July 22, 2022.
- Mega-Gengar*: from Friday, July 22, 2022, to Sunday, July 31, 2022.
Raid Hour Events
All the Wednesday in July will have a raid hour event from the 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., local time. The following Pokémon will be present during raid hours:
- July 6th: Articuno*.
- July 13: Zapdos*.
- July 20th: Moltres*.
- July 27th: Dialga*.
Hours of the featured Pokmon
In the month of July 2022, the Featured Pokémon Hour will take place every Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, as is usual. Every hour a different Pokémon will be featured along with a special bonus:
- July 5 | Ledyba*: Double XP for catching Pokémon.
- July 12 | Machop*: Double Candy for catching Pokémon.
- July 19 | Staryu*: Double Candy for transferring Pokémon.
- July 26 | Meditate*: Double XP for evolving Pokémon.
Community Day of July 2022

- Pokmon GO Fest – Berln: face-to-face event with a ticket that will take place from Friday, July 1 to Sunday, July 3, 2022.
- Pokémon GO Anniversary Event: will take place between Wednesday, July 6, 2022 and Tuesday, July 12, 2022.
