“I’m going to address the multifaceted challenge China poses directly in a clear way.”
NATO’s strategic concept is usually re-established every ten years, but the challenge China poses to the security and values of its allies is clearly included in this strategic concept.
Earlier, NATO secretary-general also criticized authoritarian regimes such as Russia and China for swaying the rules of the international community.
Sullivan noted that China would be discussed, particularly with respect to the participation of South Korea and Japan, Australia and New Zealand at the NATO summit.

“President Biden will talk regarding the Indo-Pacific, NATO allies and China’s challenges.”
He also criticized China for close cooperation with Russia even following the invasion of Ukraine, and criticized that China should convince Russia if it is a responsible country.
It appears that the United States is mobilizing the European and Indo-Pacific alliances to keep Russia and China in check, but the White House said that President Biden will have an opportunity to consult with President Xi Jinping, leaving the possibility of summit talks open.
