The son of a Crimean businessman, owner of the Taigan lion park and the Skazka zoo, Oleg Zubkov, got into an accident in the Belogorsky district of the republic. The accident killed two adults and a teenager. On June 28, Yaroslav Zubkov confirmed that it was he who was driving the SUV and said that he was not going to evade responsibility. A criminal case has been initiated.

According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Crimea, the accident occurred on June 26 at regarding 16:40 on the Tavrida highway. In the vicinity of the village of Zuya, the driver of the BMW X5 car, following in the direction of Simferopol, did not choose a safe speed, as a result of which he hit two cars in front. Renault Sandero and Nissan X-Trail drivers were filing a minor accident when a BMW crashed into them, and then a KAMAZ.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the Renault car and two of his passengers, including a 15-year-old teenager, died.

A criminal case has been initiated on violation of traffic rules, which negligently caused the death of two or more persons.

22-year-old Yaroslav Zubkov personally confirmed to the Sevastopol edition ForPostwho was driving a BMW.

“I’m not going to hide and evade responsibility in any case. I’m not that kind of person,” he replied to the publication’s message from his social media account. – I can’t say that I alone am guilty: both the truck and the participants in the accident were also involved. Guilty – I will answer. I will be responsible for my actions and consequences.”

He added that he is now helping the relatives of the victims, waiting for the examination and trial.
