Centre-du-Québec is less vaccinated than Mauricie

The population of Centre-du-Québec is less vaccinated than that of Mauricie.

As proof, 60% of municipalities in the region have not crossed the 80% threshold, while in Mauricie this rate is only 10%.

These are data obtained by Radio-Canada.

Public Health was unable to provide an explanation for this strong difference.

In Victoriaville, 84.8% of the population received two doses and 54.4% a booster dose.

In Plessisville, these figures are respectively 85.9% and 54.1%.

Note that there should be a seventh wave this fall, because the number of cases has been growing since the abolition of several health measures.
