A huge lidar radar overturned by at least four people this night in Koekelberg (video)

Very unusual scene this night on the chaussée de Jette, in Koekelberg, close to Simonis. Several individuals simply overturned a huge radar-lidar placed there to flash speeding motorists. In the images posted on social networks, we can see at least four individuals pushing this armored lidar to manage to bring it down on the road. “The machine nevertheless weighs several tons”confirmed to us this morning the police zone and the fire brigade.

The facts took place at the beginning of the night, between Sunday and Monday. The firefighters were then called to the scene to come and lift and place the machine safely on the central reservation in grass. “This Monday morning, repair teams went to the site”explained the Brussels-West police zone. “This machine (or another, for lack of being able to repair it on the spot) will be put back in the same place and will therefore be able to flash once more during the day”. The perpetrators of this spectacular push are wanted by the police. For this, they have these images on social networks, but also those of other security cameras, present in the Lidar itself, as well as in the public space where the incident took place.
