The artist Afaf Shoaib talked regarding the late Samir Sabry and how close he was to her, in addition to talking regarding the psychological crisis she was exposed to following the death of her brother.
Afaf Shuaib said: Samir Sabry is a creative artist and is keen to help everyone, and he used to pray the imposition in front of us, and I used to ask regarding him constantly during his illness to know his health condition and reassure him.
As for the controversy regarding Samir Sabri’s son and the rumors that emerged regarding him following his death, Afaf Shoaib commented, saying: It is a shame that we speak of a deceased person, and the dead have their sanctity, and every one says anything now and talk without a source, people do not understand the prohibition of speech on a dead person.
Afaf Shoaib also talked regarding the death of her brother, noting that she was going through a bad psychological state due to the death of her brother a short time ago, and she might not watch any drama during the last period, but now she sees several works that have been shown to her and she resides among them.
On the other hand, Afaf Shoaib participated in a number of works some time ago, the last of which was the story of One in the Miyeh within the tales of the Zay Al-Qamar series, in cooperation with a large number of artists, including Sabreen, Medhat Saleh, and written by Fidaa Al-Shandawili and directed by Ahmed Shafiq.
