Tomorrow, Monday, the General Secretariat of Mental Health and Addiction Treatment will hold a celebration to announce the results of the “Project Preparation of Identity-related Health Care Services for Women”, under the patronage of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Health and Population, at the Princess Fatima headquarters for Medical and Vocational Education.
The celebration will be attended by leaders of the General Secretariat for Mental Health and Addiction Treatment, some leaders of the Ministry of Health and Population, and a group of specialists in the field of mental health and addiction treatment.
This celebration coincides with the World Anti-Drug Day, and the project aims to provide addiction treatment service for women in hospitals affiliated with the General Secretariat of Mental Health and Addiction Treatment from 2016 to 2019.
The project resulted in improving the quality of service in a number of Amanat hospitals during that time period, and opening women’s health clinics in Amanat hospitals, in addition to producing a technical report “a guide booklet” in English, which was translated into Arabic, to facilitate the use of it for all categories of service providers, as well as Those interested in providing this service to the public.
