Last month, Microsoft changed the rules for installing the Windows 11 22H2 operating system for Insiders. Now this requires an internet connection, as well as a Microsoft account. Enthusiasts have managed to find a few workarounds for deploying Windows 11, but probably the easiest is to use the Rufus application, the new version of which will bypass the mentioned limitations.

Rufus 3.19 Beta reportedly introduced a feature to bypass the requirement to use a Microsoft account during the Windows 11 22H2 installation process. This option has been added to the main dialog that is used to set options when working with Rufus. In addition to this, earlier in Rufus it was possible to bypass Secure Boot and check for the presence of a Trusted Platform Module on the device.
As for the need for a Microsoft account to install Windows 11 22H2, to bypass this requirement using Rufus, you will need to temporarily disconnect your computer from the Internet. In this case, it becomes possible to fully install the Windows 11 22H2 software platform with a local account. Along with this, the developers have implemented a number of general fixes and improvements in the latest test version of Rufus. When we should expect the appearance of a stable version of the application is still unknown.
