The citizen was arrested in the 25 de Marzo sector, in San Félix.
After attending a complaint, officers of the Bolívar State Police apprehended a subject in San Félix for gender violence.
The man was identified as AJTR, 21 years old, who at the time of the arrest was holding his ex-partner hostage.
The citizen physically assaulted the 17-year-old girl, for which the neighbors alerted the authorities.
The procedure was carried out in the March 25 sector, in the April 11 parish, in San Félix.
The case was made available to the entity’s Public Prosecutor’s Office.
