15 topics covered by the International Conference on Space Operations in March 2023

The Organizing Committee of the seventeenth edition of the International Conference on Space Operations 2023 (SpaceOps), which will be hosted by the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center in Dubai from 6-10 March next year, announced that the deadline for submitting research summaries will be June 29, provided that Accepted papers will be announced on October 31.

Research topics that will be covered by the conference include 15 axes, namely: mission design and management, mission ideas, launch and flight field, ground systems engineering, data management, planning and operations scheduling, guidance, navigation and control, communications and network engineering, manned space missions and their operations, commercial space operations, Artificial intelligence in space operations, as well as safety and sustainability in space operations, human factors training and knowledge transfer, space transportation, as well as support, operability and interoperability standards.

This is the first edition to be held in the Arab world, under the slogan “We invest in space for achievements that go beyond Earth.” It is expected that a group of scientists, researchers, engineers and global leaders in the space industry will participate to discuss the latest research, modern technologies and innovations in the space sector, and the future contributions of this sector.

Over the course of 5 days of the conference at the World Trade Center in Dubai, many topics will be discussed, including space mission operations, including robot technologies, the human element, missions in Earth orbit, and missions in deep space.
