Due to the Korona-ka, airlines lost most of their passenger sales. One move that was launched in the midst of adversity was freight transportation that utilized the surplus passenger seats. April 22, 2020. A photo has been released by ANA, a major Japanese airline. It was on board a full passenger flight that was released.
It wasn’t humans who filled this passenger flight. The seats were filled with a large number of boxes of medical supplies. In other words, it was “cargo.”
This photo, taken of the first attempt by a Japanese airline, symbolizes the main pillar of earnings for the aviation industry in the Korona-ka.
In order to improve the profitability of passenger flights where passengers have disappeared, cargo is loaded not only in the cargo compartment but also in the seats. Looking back, it may seem easy, but it was unprecedented, especially in Japan. By the time we embarked on this initiative, the airlines were in distress.
