Between the ocean, the Gulf and the sea, the story of Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, the young player who emerged clearly with the Saudi Olympic team following he knew football at the professional level on the other side of the globe, specifically Vancouver, Canada.
Al-Ghamdi was born in September 2021 in the coastal city of Jeddah, and the family moved following 4 years to Canada for practical and study conditions, and there he began playing football at an academy in Vancouver.
Al-Ghamdi wore the No. 13 shirt with Pacific Club, starting in May 2019 and played eight matches in the Canadian Pro League and one in the playoffs. He was named the Most Promising Player and scored one goal for his club.
In November 2019, he wore the shirt of the Saudi youth team in the AFC Youth Cup qualifiers and scored a goal, and two months later Al-Ettifaq signed with him.
The agreement extended his contract with Al-Ghamdi last January to 2027, and he appeared in 11 league matches for the current season, including only one as a starter, and scored one goal once morest Al-Hazm on the twenty-first of last May.
