The city will come alive for the Music Festival. An edition finally far from the Covid-19.
She is making a comeback. If in 2020, the inhabitants had experienced a Music Festival in a covid version and in 2021, a completely canceled version, this one risks rediscovering the atmosphere of yesteryear. On the program, music, of course, but also dance, entertainment and tasting.
The City has, in fact, prepared a diversified program around the bastide. On Place Saint-Jean, voluntary gymnastics, from 7 p.m., will perform, then Z’Alégria at 7:30 p.m., Country on the Road at 8 p.m. and Vitadance at 8:30 p.m. A dance evening that will end with the Baiser vollé duo from 9 to 11 p.m.
On the Augustins church side, the music will vibrate around Voices from 6 to 7 p.m., then with the Rouergue vocal ensemble from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. You can also enjoy the organ at the collegiate church from 9 p.m.
The Ateliers de la fontaine will also participate in the animation of the city, in the youth center all evening long.
A bustling city
But the Music Festival does not stop there. If for two years, we might forget it, this evening is above all an opportunity for amateur musicians to enjoy a large audience. In the various cafes-restaurants of the city, groups will perform throughout the evening such as at the Globe, at the Glacier or at France. Music lovers will not hesitate to push the song in the streets of the bastide and rednecks will improvise throughout the evening to celebrate the music, the arrival of summer and a season without health restrictions.
