Al-Sisi receives the Chief of Staff and affirms: Egyptian-Emirati relations are the pillar of stability

President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, affirmed that Egyptian-Emirati relations are crucial, and represent a pillar for the stability of the Middle East region and the entire Arab world.

This came during his meeting with Lieutenant-General Hamad Muhammad Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, in the presence of Lieutenant-General Muhammad Zaki, Minister of Defense and Military Production of Egypt, and Maryam Khalifa Al Kaabi, State Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt and State Delegate to the Arab League.

During the meeting, the Egyptian President conveyed the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, and his wishes for the UAE and its people further progress and prosperity.

In turn, Lieutenant-General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi stressed the depth of the historical relations that bring together the two brotherly countries and peoples, and the UAE’s keenness to strengthen the frameworks of strategic cooperation between the two countries at various levels, especially with regard to exchanging experiences in the military field, as well as continuing the process of joint work and intense coordination with Egypt on various regional and international issues.

It was agreed during the meeting to continue strengthening coordination and regular consultation between Egypt and the UAE regarding military and security cooperation, in complementarity and harmony with the bifurcated bilateral relations process between the two countries in all fields and levels, in a way that is in the interest of the two brotherly countries and peoples, and in a manner that also supports the bonds of solidarity.
